  • No PHI. If you are looking for referrals and need to include some details to help with the referral, include as little details as possible. In general, when in doubt, post the least amount of client information possible.
  • Abide by the ethical guidelines set by your licensing board. If in doubt, check in with the resources provided by your board.
    While there is no rule specifying we all need to think the same way, please be respectful with other forum members, even when in a debate! Specifically, this means:
    • No personal attacks
    • No hate speech or speech that seeks to marginalize or disenfranchise a specific group of people
    • Stalking, bullying, threatening, or harassing other members is not allowable within this forum Speak to members of this forum as you would your colleagues. Unprofessional behavior, hostility, and/or libel are prohibited
    • Be sensitive to cultural, religious, and racial issues so that posts will not be misinterpreted
  • Do not use the forum for illegal purposes, including but not limited to:
    • Defamation
    • Violation of intellectual property laws
    • Violation of antitrust or unfair competition laws or violation of criminal laws
    • Distribution of copyrighted material without consent of the author
  • ORMHP and all contributors are held harmless against any and all claims arising out of the use of the forum, regardless of the causes, effects, or fault.
    In the event that any inappropriate posting is brought to ORMHP’s attention, ORMHP will take all appropriate action.
  • Neither ORMHP, its staff, membership, nor any contributor can be held liable in any way for any information and/or data made available to, or omitted from information distributed to, the subscribers to this forum. Information distributed may or may not have been checked for accuracy.
  • ORMHP reserves the right to terminate access to any user who does not abide by these guidelines.
